Fruit and vegetables with most pesticide residues
Curios about which fruit and vegetables contain most residues of pesticides, I searched and found reports by Consumers Union and Environmental Working Group. Both are active in USA, and draw data also from FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Below are findings from these reports, split into fruit and vegetables.

Allergic to fruit or vegetables? Maybe it is MCS
Did it ever happen to you that one day to eat an apple or pear is ok, but the next day they give you an allergic reaction? Maybe the real cause for the allergic reaction is not the fruit or vegetable after all, but the chemicals - pesticides or insecticides - found on it.
The Brazilian Substitute
When we were living in Brazil some years back, we temporarily ran out of our stock of fruto|wash®. We are used to eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, and did not want to replace them totally with boiled and/or peeled produce in our diet.
Using hand soap to wash fruit
While visiting a printing house the other day, we ended up talking about traveling and advice given to cleanse the produce in different popular destinations. One advice given in Egypt was to "wash the fresh foods with hand soap". Needless to say, the person receiving the advice decided only to eat fruit that can be pealed during the stay.
